Wholesale Food Price Indices:
Indices of wholesale (Addis Ababa) prices for cereals, pulses and oilseeds, using data from the Ethiopian Grain Trade Enterprise (EGTE).

Core Consumer Price Index (CPI) :
National and regional consumer price indices based on products and services with relatively stable prices, using data from the Central Statistics Agency (CSA).

Nominal and real exchange rate indices:
The nominal exchange rate index shows the value of the Birr measured against a basket of currencies of Ethiopia’s major trading partners. The real exchange rate index uses price indices of Ethiopia, its major trading partners and competitors to calculate the inflation-adjusted purchasing power of the Birr.
