The primary mission of EDRI is to
conduct research on the development of Ethiopian economy and disseminate
the results.

To conduct and promote high quality & objective
policy research,
To disseminate the results of policy research,
To build professional excellence and
capacity in socio-economic policy analysis,
To develop a policy research responsive
to the needs of policy makers which is rooted in rigorous analysis,
To create a research agenda that examines
both short, medium and long term issues, and
To serve as an effective forum for discussing
development issues among key stakeholders.
